Today’s title paraphrases the song “We’re Busy Doing Nothing” sung by Bing Crosby, William Bendix and Sir Cedric Hardwicke, in the 1949 color movie, “A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court” based on Mark Twain’s 1889 novel of the same.

Other mainstream newspapers are even worse!

Doctor Richard North’s EUReferendum blog stands out from the morass of mainstream comment like the tepui, Cerro de la Neblina (“Mountain of the Mist”) standing out from the surrounding rainforest below it. His comment on today’s announcement of a “temporary customs union” is suitably caustic.

    What can possibly go wrong!
Were that not enough we have a critical fuel supply shortage coming down the tracks!
Tellurian Chairman Charif Souki discusses demand for liquefied natural gas and a potential global gas shortage. He speaks with Alix Steel on “Bloomberg Markets.”
